The last of the six premiere programmes by Slovak Sinfonietta’s chief conductor František Macek is composed exclusively from the works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the most played composer in the history of Slovak Sinfonietta. The opening Symphony No. 31 Paris, named after the work’s place of composition in 1778, is a link to France. As a soloist, he has invited the distinguished French violinist Aude Perin Dureau, who, in addition to her solo and chamber performances, is a member of the Opéra Orchestre National de Montpellier.
