Another of the concerts of the popular “Solo for two Steinways” series belongs to one of the most interesting piano and at the same time marriage duos – Duo Ardašev, which consists of the great finalist of the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels, Igor Ardašev, with his no less great wife, Renata Ardašev – Lichnovská. Mr. and Mrs. Ardašev represent the very best in their field, as evidenced by their clear sound, brisk tempi, excellent technique and great rhythm. The thoughtful and plastic leadership of the voices, the securely built gradations, the excellent pedalling and the incredibly compact interplay deserve admiration.
