The Slovak sinfonietta’s favourite guest conductor – the internationally renowned Rastislav Štúr – will bring an intriguing program of Slovak and Czech music to the stage of the Fatra House of Arts; these works are a fundamental part of the repertoire, and two compositions by Slovak composers will receive their world premieres. The program will also feature Josef Suk’s famous musical fairy tale “Radúz and Mahulena”, based on literary motifs by Julius Zeyer, which ranks among the most melodically beautiful works of Czech Romantic music.
