Pre-premiere of the programme for the most important Slovak international music festival – the Bratislava Music Festival (BHS), featuring works of Viennese and Slovak classicism. After two years, Žilina will host a popular soloist – the now 16-year-old Teo Gertler, who has since achieved considerable success at home and abroad. Another interesting feature of the concert will be the performance of Anton Zimmermann’s Missa Solemnis performed by the Lúčnica Chorus and vocal soloists. The concert will be conducted by the honorary chief conductor Leoš Svárovský, who has been cooperating with Slovak Sinfonietta since 1993 and today’s concert is his 301st performance with our orchestra.
