The second concert of the season will be dedicated to the leading figures of the Classical, Romantic, and 20th-century periods. The stage of the Fatra House of Arts will feature the young Italian conductor Nicola Fattori, a former French horn player with the Slovak Sinfonietta and a student at the renowned Mozarteum in Salzburg, whom the Žilina audience remembers for his quick-thinking stand-in performance for conductor Adrián Kokoš at the 2025 Christmas concerts. After a long hiatus, Francis Poulenc’s organ concerto—one of the most famous organ concertos in music history—will be performed in Žilina by the internationally renowned Austrian organist and harpsichordist Ines Schüttengruber.
