After two joint appearances at the Allegretto 2021 and 2022 festivals, František Macek, a young talented conductor and laureate of several international competitions, was given the opportunity to conduct two subscription concerts in the 49th season of the ŠKO. He will present an attractive programme of French music, which always meets with a positive response from the Žilina audience. As a soloist, he has chosen the great Czech cellist Tomáš Jamník, laureate of the 58th Czech Cello Competition. Prague Spring and the Pierre Fournier Award in London.

The concert is held in cooperation with the French Institute in Bratislava.
