The 33rd edition of the renowned New Slovak Music Festival, organised by the Society of Slovak Composers, covers the contemporary work of Slovak music creators. It can work with established composers, but also with the discovery of new talents. At this year’s edition, three Slovak composers who have already achieved many successes at international composers’ competitions, will present their premieres in Žilina. There will also be the premiere of a work by the concert conductor Marian Lejava and a double bass concerto by the popular Žilina composer Pavol Krška performed by the world-renowned Žilina citizen Roman Patkoló.
